Taking a stroll with my subject through the non-picturesque downtown Mt Vernon, Ohio to find all the blue hues surrounding us. Pausing for a moment at all these blue-Hued locations, discovering and appreciating the hidden beauty. Using the emotions brought up by our emotions after sitting at the site to capture moving pieces of digital art.
Use this as a reminder to romanticize the small things in life. Have to walk your dog? You get the opportunity to smell the flowers, feel the warmth of the sun, say hi to your elderly neighbor. Have to do a boring class assignment? You get the opportunity to sit in a comfy chair in your favorite spot on campus and listen to music that reminds you of home.
you have probably been to a Walmart before. have you noticed how bright and airy the aisles are? have you noticed how accurately the fake flowers represent their beautiful real-life counterpart? odds are you have been to a dusty gas station. have you noticed how beautiful the flowers are right next to it? Have you noticed how all your favorite snacks are available for your enjoyment? you have probably ordered at a dairy queen or similar fast food restaurant. have you taken the time to sit and really enjoy the food and the rays of sun shining into the restaurant? Have you stopped to take in the surroundings and reminisce about the 'good ol days' when your parents would take you out to these fast food places as a treat?
